here for a fundraiser. wouldn't have known it was here otherwise.
their wings are meaty, juicy, and flavorful with medium sauce. not spicy at all.
their potato skins are round, crispy in the outside, soft on the inside and oh so cheesy.
i highly recommend this place as at least a one time visit. i might be coming back again. -

I came here with a group of 11 people during the lunch hour. We were seated quickly and glasses of water were already on the table ready for us.
The atmosphere at this bar was laid back. There was not a crowd at this hour. Definitely might have to come back and check the night life at this place, as they have live music.
The staff were super friendly. The waitress was kind. I asked her opinion between the flat bread and burger. She said to go with the burger.
We had a long wait for our food, since we were a larger group even though they were not busy. So prepare for a lengthy wait.
I docked a star for the food. The fries were absolutely amazing, but the burger was meh. It was dry and lacked flavor. I added barbecue sauce to it and it helped a lot.
The service and staff, as well as the experience and live music, make this place a decent place to check out. But don't come in expecting a great burger. -

As far as big goofy neighborhood sports bars go, this place nails it.
- Happy Hour tel 7pm with good size domestic drafts for like $1.50 (as a cheap ass, that's my favorite part). And then night, I believe they were like 2 or 3 bucks.
- I've only tried the wings, but they were solid and reasonably priced.
- One of the few times I ever liked an acoustic singer playing in a bar, not sure who he was, but he kinda blew me away. And the place is big enough that his crooning didn't take over the place.
- As a loser who sits alone and reads at the bar, there has always been a stool available. On the other hand if I had friends (I just moved here, maybe some day), I could easily bring friends in and have a little area.
Great afternoon chill out spot. But please change the radio station. Horrible pop music blaring, when frankly, a classic rock or any kind of older music would fit the vibe better. -

I'm trying to figure out why the place is empty at lunchtime. I've been there twice for lunch (on a Tuesday and a Thursday), and the most customers I've seen at one time is 5.
The first time I had a chicken salad sandwich from the Pick 6 lunch menu (6 items to choose from for $6. There's also a Pick 5 menu - you can figure out what that is!). It is the first time i have had a chicken salad sandwich, especially one on toast, that the chicken salad didn't squish out the sides with each bite. This thing is almost entirely chicken. The side of tortilla chips with their own Sal Sancho sauce (ranch dressing with salsa and spices) that comes with it is excellent. I had to ask for more sauce, because it was so good. The toasted Hawaiian bread it comes on had a somewhat off taste because of toasting it, but that's not their fault. It's the nature of the beast.
The second time I had to get the boneless wings (Could they be any meatier???) so I could try some dipping sauces. I tried the sweet BBQ (which I'm pretty sure is Sweet Baby Ray's), Sweet Thai Chili, Sweet habanero (way to spicy for me, but still very tasty), and Teriyaki. All were excellent. I added a side salad, mainly so I could get the Sal Sancho dressing on it.
Maybe when I give them a plug on Cooking With Marilyn, they'll get some business at lunchtime. -

There's something about the appeal of a good, local, neighbor sports bar and grill that just feels right. A place to watch a game, enjoy some classic pub grub, and have a tasty brew or two with friends. It's the kind of draw that makes you say, "Game on!" MVP certainly has that and then some.
The look and feel is definitely that of a hometown sports bar, with Cincinnati sports gear all around, and even local high school team flare. It's also very family friendly with something for everyone. The menu features a wide variety of pub grub favorites like wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, and flatbreads. Their beer menu is very nice too, featuring standard domestic favorites as well as local craft beer hits.
My lady and I have been here a few times and we're always impressed. We usually opt for burgers and some local craft beer and both are absolutely tasty! My personal favorite is the Sergeant Pepper Jack burger (topped with jalapeños, banana peppers, pepper jack cheese and scallions.) You can stick with hand-cut fries or opt for tater tots or sweet potato fries for a little extra. I usually go with the tots because I love some tots. My lady enjoys the flatbreads and her favorite is the bacon ranch (topped with shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, house made ranch dressing, tomatoes, and scallions. Add grilled chicken for just $2 more.)
Also, if you enjoy live music, they feature live bands regularly on Friday and Saturday nights. I've yet to see a show here, but the size of the stage makes it look like they could put on some really good shows.
So, if you're game for a good sports bar and grill, MVP will score some points with you for sure. Get the team together and go, go, GO!!
